Skiing & Snowboarding

Enderby is within driving distance to some of the most beautiful Ski Mountains. Vernon's Silver Star Mountain is 57 km away. Big White in Kelowna is 89 km and Selkirk Mountain Resort in Revelstoke is only 112 km. Make a day of it enjoy the scenery, do some shopping and take a camera


Cruise down the Shuswap River on an innertube. Innertubing is one of the most relaxing ways to enjoy the water and spend time together. It is an exciting, therapeutic and inexpensive way to explore the great outdoors. Scenic Hikes & Walks

Towering high above the city stand the majestic Enderby Cliffs. According to local legend the ridge, as viewed from south of Enderby resembles the head of a Neanderthal Man who, in days of yore, guarded the northern gateway to the Okanagan Trench. A challenging hike promises a terrific view of the Shuswap River and the Okanagan valley, as well as a close look at volcanic rock and fossil sites. The trail is for foot traffic only: no horses, ATVs or mountain bikes are allowed.

Enjoy the Jim Watt Heritage Riverwalk. It comes complete with information posted along the way, benches, picnic tables and it's not uncommon to spot ducks, geeser, song birds, blue herons, hawks, balk eagles, sockeye salmon and beavers.


Hunters Range is host to over 90 km of groomed snowmobile trails. A favorite destination of all levels of riders, the Range offers expansive meadows to steep climbing hills in the perfect setting for your winter riding.

Local Events

Enderby has hosted the Funtastic Slowpitch Tournament at the Riverside Park since 1998, along with Armstrong and Vernon. Funtastic is the largest recreational slowpitch event in Canada with different themes, food vendors, beer gardens, DJs and other events.

For the hockey/road hockey enthusiasts February is the time to be at the Howard Johnson/Fortunes Landing Annual Road Hockey Tournament. Fortunes Landing has been putting on this Tournament since 1993. Cash Prizes, Trophies, Live Entertainment and a lot of Fun.


Birchdale Golf Course is a easy-walking par 3 is the perfect site for a leisurely round of golf. This quaint course offers a quiet country atmosphere surrounded by spectacular views of the mountains.

Mable Lake Golf and Country Club is a popular golf experience in the Okanagan which was designed and built by renowned course architect Les Furber. Featuring paved cart trails, beautiful ponds, expansive transition areas, and picturesque rock walls, this par 36 is sure to delight golfers of all skill levels.
